Welcome to what I’ve decided to label as the “opinion” segment on this website. Though it will actually contain a variety of topics. It’ll, of course, have opinion pieces. But it’ll also have articles about media analysis. And writing advice! Every piece linked on this page may vary wildly from one another. But I decided “opinion” was an appropriate title as they are all effectively nonfiction and contain some essence of my own thoughts/opinions.
I’ll, of course, link the title to the post where you can find the article. I’ll also provide a description of each article, so any sewer rat can pick and choose what grabs their attention. I’ve also replaced the typical “triggers” section with genre, as I don’t believe these pieces will contain any triggering topics. If I do end up writing about triggering topic, it will be clearly stated before any article.
Instead, genre will help narrow down and clarify what type of article it is. Separating “opinion” from “analysis” and “writing advice.” I believe that this will be more helpful to any sewer rats traveling through this part of the sewer.
Consider this the Rat Writing opinion and advice column. Read and learn, comment your own ideas and thoughts, or even suggest a topic you want covered. This is a free-for-all, an open forum for discussion! Squeak on and scurry onward!
